What to Expect
Thinking about counselling can stir up feelings of uncertainty and worry. It's not uncommon for people to feel uncomfortable about approaching a counsellor, and to have anxious thoughts about what to expect. If you are apprehensive, please do feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have.
To ease any reservations you may have, I offer a free 30 minute initial meeting (online or by telephone). This first session is an opportunity for you to share more about yourself and the challenges you are facing, in a safe and supportive space. There’s absolutely no pressure or obligation.
Counselling sessions are 50 minutes long and tend to be weekly. Whether you’re seeking short term support, or would rather a more extended arrangement, we can discuss what would work best for you. I offer both in-person sessions in Poole and virtual sessions online.
